The Dark Army is the army commanded by Chevallier Kuro, the sidekick of Madame Namanirak. Their uniforms are predominantly black, and they appear to be mailny emotionless. They follow commands of both Kuro and Namanirak. They're mainly war prisoners captured by Kuro and put into "soul-sleep".
